D'Angles is just one of the leading estates of La Clape, just outside the city of Narbonne - an example of Bordelais investment in the Midi. The blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir and Mourvedre makes for a great barbecue wine; it has Midi spice on the nose, but fresh pepperiness and a hint of warmth on the palate.
